For the Newcomer
This section is for those new to Sexaholics Anonymous or considering if SA may be appropriate for them. It consists of readings from "To the Newcomer" in our self-titled basic text, commonly referred to as The White Book.

- Test Yourself (20 Questions)
- The Twelve Step and Twelve Traditions
- The Problem and The Solution
Before joining a regular group, prospective members (newcomers) are asked to first attend a Newcomer Information Meeting. A Newcomer Information Meeting is where the Sexaholics Anonymous program is explained in detail and the prospective member (newcomer) can decide if SA is the appropriate program for them. If it is, additional information for regular meetings will be provided.
Two types of Newcomer Information Meetings are currently available. The first type is a Zoom meeting. We currently hold one of these meetings weekly, as follows:
Monday evening Newcomer Information Meeting, 8-9 pm
The second type of Newcomer Information Meeting takes place at any of the Regular Meetings whose information is posted in the Regular Meetings section of this website. If you decide to join any of these meetings as a newcomer, please arrive a few minutes early and identify yourself as a newcomer to the meeting leader.
